I stood on a far ridge, far enough away from their sight. I figured, "a horse will do nicely" since before Kash killed them all off for meat, a small herd of about twenty or so equines roamed Seta XII. Now only one lived; his unruly mount, a black steed named "Bajai" or at least, I believe that's what I over heard. Im getting ahead of myself...after all, thats not my purpose of being here.

I was here to check up on someone, someones who life I ruined yet again by abusing my own powers. A girl, a child.
That word, child it had done nothing but echo through my head for the past seven years but there was more to it than that. In fact it was the very words of the head councilmen of the Continuum had made very clear to me:
"You ruined the life of an innocent child. You put her in the hands of blind hate to be raised with lies, taught to turn her back on her own blood!"

I can still see his glowing green eyes of anger lingering down on me.

"Let this forever be bared on your immortal soul!"

And oh boy, would it ever. Even more so since they cursed me with "Foresight", a constant reminder of who's life I put to ruin. I haven't been able to look at my own reflection without seeing the one half of me as her.

For the longest time I never understood why her. I've toyed with many lives in past, what makes this one so different? It was simply the fact that she was a child and I have grown to understand how badly I had made things.

The Continuum gave me seven years till my trail. It has been six. It took till today for me to careless about losing my powers or not, but when I witnessed Kash striking Calius across the face, purely to take out his frustration, for the first time, my heart ached, I had butterflies in my stomach, all purely human emotions yet, I was feeling them.

All that mattered now, was making up for all I have done.

After all, she's just a child

In a nut shell, Q actually "met" Calius a year prior to her being on the Defiant. He appeared as a horse. This is what he would probably look like. IDK....

That will be further explained in the upcoming parts of the prologue and yes, part 3 will but up soon
